Sweetgrass represents positivity, strength, connection to Mother Earth. Its smell when burned dry is a sweet fresh smell, somewhat like the comfort of home. When braided, sweetgrass represents love, peace and harmony. It’s used in smudging to cleanse and purify, and it’s known as a healing herb. For example, it can be used to help with colds, or sinus issues.
